Inspiration in the Kitchen – part 2

A new change was made when I was looking for a better way of giving spinach to our Little One. To tell the truth, neither my husband nor I eat spinach, but I was so impressed by its description in a book by David Rathgeber, that I decided to give it a try, at least for our Little One meals. I steamed the spinach and then I blended it with the yolk. The new dish was eaten without any problems.

Bedtime books for our Little One – part 2

I’d received a complimentary book with an issue of ‘Mother&Baby’ and it was lying around until our Little One started regularly browsing through it. This book is a very short story about a crocodile, named Mr Crock, who does three things: he reads a book, brushes his teeth and goes to bed.

Although I don’t like the style of the pictures, I must admit that ‘Good night, Mr Crock’ has proved to be a very useful book. After reading this story for a few days Read the rest of this entry »

Bedtime books for our Little One – part 1

I absorbed a lot of books and magazines about babies, their development and upbringing when we were trying to start a family. Most of them highlighted the importance of books in a baby’s life, saying that it would be never too early to start reading to your baby, so that we decided that a bedtime book would be worth buying. We’d got one just before our Little One was born and we started reading this book from the first weeks of his life.
